The number of computer users today is simply too large to be catered by one
company or one product in any category. Choices are bound to come. But, imho
Microsoft is and will be a force to shape coming technologies for at least
the near future. It just cannot be wished away. Moreover, Microsoft must be
given the credit of introducing some very very cool technologies at a very
affordable price like XML support in IE4, MTS, WLBS etc. So, I still believe
in non-aligned movement and anybody who makes things possible, I like him.
