  People need to give Microsoft cretit where it is due, not where it is
not.  They are not a technology company, and they have 'invented' these
things in about the same way that Caldera 'invented' Linux (IE: They
bundle other peoples technologies, sometimes if you are lucky putting tiny
bits of additional manpower on it to improve it).

  Microsoft is a marketing and lobbying firm, and as can be seen by the
fact that they are above the law and able to market such poor products
that they are extremely good at that.
