I guess that if unofficially compulsory on all well meaning members.. if
somebody has _real_ problems, her case may be considered but if somebody
htrows up an excuse.. well its up to the general listers and the office
bearers to decide on that.

I for one, would be ready to volunteer to collect every month a fixed sum
from all iluggers in JU.I take the resposibility of somehow getting it
accross to Indra / treasurer, if any.

I think it will be psychologically easier to pay Rs 10-15 a month than
dole out a lumpsum 300/- at _any_ time of the year. Thi s is not Blore,
people reason differently, I don't think following ilug-blr model is
sensible for reasons that we discussed oer the tel.
