Hi,
I have recently upgraded my PC to Pentium III with INTEL 810 chipset
motherboard. I have opted for onboard graphics accelerator. Windows98
loaded fine and display resolution has been set to 1024 x 768 in true
color 24 bit in SVGA mode. Then in other partition of HDD (10.2GB) [ 8 GB
for LINUX ] I loaded Red Hat Linux 6.1. However, RH6.1 X server was not
configured ok. It showed resolution of simple VGA16 (640X480) instead of
SVGA(1024X768) which I need very much. I could not find a suitable card
from the list and hence I could not configure out the XF86Setup.
Can anyone help me to solve my problem so that I can use it with HiRes?
