Localhost always exists for every networked machine: However, RH 6.2 adds
to confusion here. it allows you to specify an alias for 127.0.0.1 which
though legal is not an often used system . Apache certainly does not like
it.

PS. A  good idea is to make an entry such as testpad.co.in which is a more
likely candidate for not clashing with existing domains.
