Getting into registration and a few more legal things is surely inviting a lot of hassels.
However, Indra, in-order to participate in an event like BookFair or Compass or any other event too, you ought to get a stall booked under some name and have to pay the stall money. Unless an untill somebody can "pay" on behalf or get the whole thing sponsored (though there are lots of IFs and BUTts in such case too). So to get going in a commercial event one need to be a registered organisation, unless, somebody comes up with a suggestion which could by-pass such a criteria.
