The GNU General Public License is one license which happens to be both 
an Open Source license and a Free Software license.

  Open Source is not a single license, but a class of licenses which offer 
specific features.



BTW: I think it would be interesting to see a LUG that embraced a full 
range of Open Source/Free Software tools, including other kernels such as 
the variety of BSD kernels and the new HURD kernel (once it is usable ;-)
