Hi , Atul

Thanks a lot the problem is over with hdparm -d0 /dev/hdc , you are genius ,
I tried IRC a lot to get a solve for the problem , now it is solved & this
is the reason why I like open source since it has a greate support.

Now I have some qus does DMA reamin dissable for hdc all the time or should I
have to give the command before each burning seassions ??

And to enable DMA I have to give hdparm -d1 /dev/hdc. Now should I enable it
before data transfer from the hdc to hda.

                                 Anirban Biswas.
