I wonder whether it's really due to hardware incompatibility.
Intel D915GAG m'board is in the list of redhat certified hardware.
Take a look: http://hardware.redhat.com/hcl/?pagename=details&hid=5837
The error message is to short and uncharacteristic of linux for a
hardware incompatibility problem. It should come up with more messages
if there is any.
So, check out your bios settings, like the boot sequence of media that
you have specified.
Might be linux is unable to find a proper media to boot.
