Exactly my thoughts. :) I believe there was somebody enthusiastic about distributing Ubuntu cds at Compass 2005. IIRC, I had requested that ordering of the cds be stayed until we came to a decision re: participation. Maybe now we could get going on the solar cooker Sharmaji was planning about. Just because we get the cds free doesn't mean that the company doesn't have to spend money on production and shipping. Money, that could instead be used to fund the development, of the distro. I'm very sorry to note, that other than a few learned people in the LUG, almost no one bothers to read Linux news, and to keep abreast of the things happening in the FOSS world.
