Hi Katie,

I have also done some extensive searching for you on the net for iMac Update 1.0,
but haven't found it for you. I did find for you how to find out if you already
have that update installed on your OS 8.1:

Do a GetInfo on the Mac OS ROM file in your System Folder, if the date is later
than August of 1998 you already have it since the iMac Update 1.0 is from
September 1998.
I have digged around my old CDs and have found the iMac Update 1.0 and have put it
online for you to download over here (it's 1,9MB stuffed):
