There's some formal name for that kind of logic error,
but I forget what it is. I didn't have a weight problem
back when I was using a slide rule instead of a
computer. If only there weren't computers, I'd be
lithe (and young) still....
We ran OS 9 on a Rev A iMac
for quite a while and didn't have any problems (at
least any more than with OS 8). I can't testify about
OS X, but lots of people *do* run it on older iMacs
and claim it is the cat's whiskers.
