What difference does it make? The icons look a little different...that's
the only difference. In order to properly run TTP you have to boot from the
CD. You don't reboot your Mac in OS 9. That is what I am saying. That is
why I don't understand. You have to reboot from a CD...PERIOD. What
difference does it make what OS is on that CD? Nothing.

OS X is a baby still. There are a ton of OS X capable apps now, but you
have to realize that this isn't a jump that we are used to. The jump to OS
X is revolutionary for Apple. It's not like going from 8.1 to 8.6, or 8.6
to 9. Those were the same basic code. OS X is TOTALLY different. You have
to be just a tiny bit flexible and give the developers time to catch up. I
am sure that future versions of AppleCare troubleshooting software will be
OS X ONLY, and that will bother far more people than the current situation.
