Interesting. Having nothing to compare it with, I have no way to judge fast vs slow except the previous Mac OS on the machines. The iMac is all Apple except for the RAM upgrade. The PowerTower is using XpOSFacto to run OS X. Maybe some folks can take a stop watch to their machines and we can build up some actual real world, boot up times data, for reference of all?
