??? On mine (a flat panel iMac with Combo drive), it takes all of 51 seconds. Even on my old Revision B iMac (which only had the minimum 128 megs of RAM), it took less than two minutes. What in blue hell are you guys running on your Classic that could possibly be slowing it down to such a degree? John A.
