I would have to agree with her, Apple should have given a CD that has apps that were 100% OSX (at least carbon based) for that purpose. I am now 100% OSX and will never turn back to classic there is simply no need nor any desire to use OS 9. Heck, I was expecting an OS similar to OS X in 1995, what f*(k happen? I spent a lot of money on a 1st generation PowerPC system expecting it to be upgraded to an OS with premptive multitasking and the works, instead we were shafted with classic all the way up to 9.1 and I upgraded that same 8100/80 with a G3 PDS card while maxing out the RAM! Now, I have the flat panel 800MHz iMac and I love it with OS X! :) It is a great machine(also wonderful piece of desk art) and I swear that the integrated Nvidia GeForce 2 seems a heck of a lot faster that an AGP card version of a GeForce 2 in a box system. OS X system tool disk (like with applecare) should have been provided, not everybody is a UNIX guru and feels comfortable with text commands like fsck_hfs and so on.
