getting more and more like Microsoft by the minute... I went to check my 
mac.com mail, which I use as my web-based address, and was bombarded 
with a "buy this for only this and get this in exchange!!" - reminded me 
of my days using hotmail.
 From what I read though (I may be completely wrong) is that you get your 
mac.com with the 5mb of space, the regular iTools,etc etc. But if you 
want all the fancy-schmancy upgrades (15 mb of email,100 mb of store) 
then you pay $99US - or if you're already an iTools member and sign up 
before then you get your first year for $49US.

hmph. Not my cup of tea.
