Hello all, I'm brand new to the list, although I've had my Rev. C iMac since they came out.
My question for the group is this: as I mentioned, I'm using the 266 mHz Rev. C iMac, running OS 8.6. I'd like to upgrade to OS 9, and have seen newer iMac install CDs on eBay with OS 9. These CDs, though, must have come with later iMacs (I'm guessing starting with the DVs), since OS 9 didn't exist when the Rev. C came out. So, does anybody know if these newer install CDs will work in older iMacs? Any info would be very much appreciated.
