Not all CDs do this. And a lot of iMac-and-later machines have the same 
Gestalt. Scott's 'rooting around' method is also not fool proof -- some 
Install CDs are picky, others are not. In the end, you are breaking the 
End User License Agreement by doing this even if it works.
