Well, I once took my Apple Extended keyboard (adb) apart and washed it. Literally. I undid all the screws, opened it up, took the electronics out and washed everything else in the sink! The only thing I can't remember is whether the keys were attached to the electronics board or to the external case... You could always take a look inside and see... There may also be a spray cleaner that's designed for keyboards, but I'm not certain. I'm sure someone here will know for sure. Good Luck!
