That reminds me of a story I read years ago from a tech support guy who said a frantic secretary had calle din saying she had spilled coffee on her boss' keyboard. The tech calmly instructed her to do the washing and drying routine and had forgotten about it until the next day when an extremely irate boss called back demanding to know why tech support instructed het to perform those actions.
