They are firmly seated and from a reputable dealer (as far as one exists). Recall that I placed 256M each in the top and bottom slots of the RevC trayloader
I have heard that some iMacs don't like these. Is there a particular slot that is more sensitive than another? Does the one beep mean that all RAM has been checked and NONE of it seems to be installed? Would you infer from the fact that the test is occurring that the CPU is seated and working?
