No you don't. You have a modem-incapable iMac. Ever heard of broadband?


I guess that means an external USB modem, unless they have firewire ones, although I don't see why they would. So, any recomendations for me?

This is a sign from your god or gods that it is time for Cable or DSL.


The other question I ahd regarding this was about networking. Is it possible to connect my Compact presario and my iMac, or is there no way to make those two play nice together?

Running OS X, all things are possible. Certainly networking to a PC and/or sharing connections is.
