That about sums it up. A while back I posted to this list about my iMac DV SE 400. I
was having problems because my iMac didn't recognize the internal modem, or the new
internal modem I purchased and installed. I have no idea what the problem is, I just
took my last stab at it (complete format and reinstall of everything) and after it
still was unable to find any modem I finally said "take off, eh!!"
So, i still have an internet incapable iMac, which I want to make internet capable. I
guess that means an external USB modem, unless they have firewire ones, although I
don't see why they would. So, any recomendations for me?
The other question I ahd regarding this was about networking. Is it possible to
connect my Compact presario and my iMac, or is there no way to make those two play
nice together?
