Since you already have a hub, I'd just get a cheap one port hardware router (I bought 
one off ebay for less than $10US) and go from your set top box to the router to the 
hub to all the computers.  If Windows Internet Sharing worked, I would think that a 
dedicated router would work just the same, and would eliminate the neatives of using a 
computer as a router (having to leave it on all the time, other computers losing 
connection if that one crashes, etc.)

I don't know anything about the type of internet you have (I have cable) so you should 
make sure that the router you're getting will work with the system before you buy it.
