Hey Guys, Thanks for the help, I'd love to buy a router but dont have the money (15y/o Student here with no job, etc) - I was hoping there'd be a cost free solution as I'm already overdrawn on my PayPal account so eBay is kind of ruled out.
I wont be using the iMac as a server - The AMD Athlon will be taking over, but I was annoyed because Windoze doesnt support port forwarding and I wanted to make use of my iMac's Web Server abilities. I know how to use the Web sharing (Apache) etc tools, but most of them aren't much use unless you have a direct connection to the internet, or a router which supports port forwarding, e.g, a PC with "Smoothwall", or a hardware router (like I said, no cash, plus, effort required). Thanks for your help anyway, god knows there's no one round here clever enough to help me. Phil P.S. Except you Daniel, I know you are reading this, and you are a great help! -- "You idiot!
