Well perhaps it will run with so less RAM, but the speed of OS X on that 
(first revision) iMac will nothing be compared to the speed of OS X on a 
new (i)Mac. Also there's a big difference in speed between OS X 10.1.x 
and OS X 10.2.x on a Mac. 10.2.x (aka Jaguar) is much faster than 10.1.x.
