OS X was designed for today's machines and better; not machines from over FIVE YEARS ago.

I have to disagree.

My best friend of 16 years, Robert Martell, purchased my old Revision B iMac on which I had installed OS X for him. He's been running X perfectly well on that old machine, and has LOVED his experience with it.

If you have enough memory and a big enough hard drive, OS X will run fine on ANY G3 Mac (so long as that Mac was a G3 ORIGINALLY, not a third party upgrade).
