Yes it's FAXstf X - what I see in Print Center (and in the print dialog box is "apple internal modem" not FAXstf X (which is what I'm supposed to see, according to the instructions.)
I just read the instructions again, a bit more carefully and I see what I did wrong. I thought the fax numbers would show up automatically in the fax address list (in the print dialog box) , but you have to drag the Vcard over from the address book. For some reason, my eyes just skipped over that bit of information.

And something I forgot to mention earlier....I had to update the program before I could actually send a fax successfully. It went through the motions, but never got to the recipient. I've kept my old PowerBook 520 around to use as a fax machine for that reason.
