No...the five flavors do have a fan. I believe the fan was eliminated in the next revision. Anyway, I can't seem to boot it from the CD. I believe the procedure is to load the system disk into the CD and start the computer while pressing 'C'. When I do this, nothing happens; even the screen stays dark.
