The true acolytes can give you hordes of technical reasons, but for my purposes of just getting work done everyday? The Mac is much more stable and trouble free platform, to say nothing of the lack of viruses, better mail filtering, etc., etc., etc..
It took me forever to down load a program.That doesn't have much to due with the computer. Download speeds area function of your internet connection.
Just tell me what the big deal is.Everybody has a different answer. For me it's productivity plain and simple. This is with plain old word processing and spreadsheet type tasks. No artsy crafty stuff here. <G> During the last round of the SoBig F virus we had 169 peecee's down. At one point I was the only company employee able to access the internet. <G>
