Spam experts pretty much agree that about 99.5% of the Spam we receive has forged "From" header, right? Bouncing, based on "From" is useless, and worse, counterproductive, as it adds to wasted 'net resources.
And there has been software available for over 5 years, IIRC, that ISPs can install which will BLOCK messages with forged headers. Unfortunately, it looks like most ISPs can't be bothered to use it.
