Yep. I believe AOL started down the html/mime route with Windows AOL (WAOL) 7 or 8. Then when they wrote the true Mac OS X version of AOL (MAOL 10.3), they added that "enhancement". Actually, Microsoft started this whole thing, but they at least left in the option to disable html/mime!
