The link you give is for software for Windows PCs only. Those programs will not run on your Mac. If you tried to run them, it wouldn't mess your computer up, because the program wouldn't run AT ALL. As far as I know, spyware is a problem that really only affects Windows PCs. This is true for the same reason that computer viruses mainly only affect windows PCs. if I was going to write a virus or spyware program, I would want to make it run on the most computers I could. therefore I'd write it for Windows PCs. Macs make up too small of a market segment to be of interest to people trying to cause mass hysteria.
