There are a multitude of software programs listed at the above site,(some free, most averaging about $29.95) offering various types of protection, with the ability to scan your computer to see if you've been zapped. The thing is, are these programs compatible with mac computers? I don't want to download something and find out later that it's not compatible and will mess up my OS.
If anyone has tried this kind of software, I would appreciate any info

I believe NetBarrier from Intego (http://www.intego.com) might handle this under their anti-Trojan Horse feature.
