Thanks everybody for the feedback on this question. Also, I appreciate the heads up on the date and time. When I checked, the computer had reverted back to 1970 - maybe it is time for a new battery. Haven't replaced it since I made the purchase in early 2000. I usually pull the plug each night which may have taken its toll. I've reset the clock & date and will keep tabs to see if it holds, otherwise, off to radio shack for a new batt.
