Sorry to be late to the party, but I have found that having two partitions is very helpful. On the second partition I have a completely new installation of OS X. This way, if there is a problem in my main partition, I boot from the second partition and run disk repair software that cannot be run from the main partition. Also, I make very frequent backups of my documents to this partition so that should I carelessly erase a file from my main partition, it is there waiting for me on the second partition. I know, this is not a *real* backup. That is on a separate drive, and I do that only weekly. -- Bruce ____________________________________________________ B R U C E K. klutch-at-erols.com -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
