Yours is a Rev B, right? They are well known to take 512. Not the same with the Rev As. I have very rarely heard of a Rev A with more than 256 MB recognised, and even then I wonder if those reports are reliable.

Yes, it used to be a Rev B. However, since I've changed the processor, added Firewire, changed the hard drive, and put in 256 MB of RAM MORE than Apple said would work, I think it is probably a "Rev Q"!
