Came home from a short vacation to find that my iMac won't connect to the internet. It was shut down. My iBook is having no trouble over the same line. Comparing the two, I see that on 'Network' on the iMac it says 'Internal Modem', which I know isn't right, and on the iBook it says 'Ethernet'. According to my Missing Manual, it should be set to Ethernet to hook to DSL. The trouble is, Ethernet is grayed out on the iMac. The only setting available is Internal Modem. Any ideas? How can I get Ethernet to show up as a choice?

Thanks,

Tom
