My Panther fax used to work great, but suddenly began to hold any fax rather than sending it. I'm thinking that the problem is with the modem since clicking the resume button immediately results in "The fax device is not responding." Is there a way to reset the internal modem, assuming that it is the fax device, of course?
Recently <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> suggested, "Try deleting the modem and re-installing it using the Printer Setup Utility." I did this, but to no avail.
When I try to fax a document, the process begins as it should but then (opening the Internal Modem dock icon) always shows "Hold until xx:xx xM" under Status -- five minutes later the process tries again, but with the same result. After several such tries, it gives up and the document disappears from the list.
Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
