Yes; my wife's Dell laptop is on our Airport (not Extreme) network. > I know the specs say you can if each of the computers have the right >card, but has anyone done it? How about including printers in the mix? It's fairly simple and straightforward. Printers can be another story, but it depends how you want to share them. If you're already sharing printers over a network then AirPort doesn't really add anything new. > Do Airport connections slow down dial-up or DSL transmissions, in your >opinion? No, dial-up and DSL connections are quite a bit slower than AirPort (even non-Extreme) speeds. You'd need something on the order of a dedicated T3 connection to see an AirPort bottleneck. -Jeff [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- "You can't brew a premium lager with a kool-aid mentality." --Harold Green in _The_Red_Green_Show_ -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
