Has anyone here connected Macs with PCs via Airport or Airport Extreme?

A Dell with a Snow Airport. Setting up the Dell is a pain but eventually figured it out. The problem is support. Dell support is now in India and it was terrible. Apple won't support connecting a Dell to an Airport even on Apple Care. Apple should support this issue because they are living in a Windoze dominated industry. But with the help of this list and a couple of websites I got it to work. A more tech savvy person would not have had as much trouble as I did.

I know the specs say you can if each of the computers have the right card, but has anyone done it? How about including printers in the > mix?

Not yet.

Do Airport connections slow down dial-up or DSL transmissions, in your opinion?

No.
