Is there anyone using Microsoft Virtual PC for the Macintosh ?
Yes.

Which platform are you running it on, G3 ? G4 ? or G5 ?
MDD Dual 867, 1.5 GB RAM

Which version of Windows are you using ?
W2K Pro

Since I no longer uses the PC platform, and since there isn't a Microsoft Train Simulator for the Macintosh, so I thought
I try the Virtual PC approach, and want to know as much as I can before forking out the cash. I would like to know if it
can handle the workload of various CAD software, as once again, there isn't a Macintosh version of same.
I use it to run some windooze only OEM programs, plus the usual Word, Excel and occasional IE javascript. On this Mac it probably runs around the equivalent of a 500 MHz PII intel chip? Not spectacular or as speedy as a dedicated wintel box, but more than adequate for our use. Can't help you as to games. No gamers here.

Graphics are one of VPC's limitations. Theoretically the M$ version VPC7 is supposed to have much better graphics capabilities, but it's not out yet so it's all a bit speculative.
