Someday this might make life easier. Wired and the MIT Technology Review have had stories (everyone else, too) on a new emulator that is FAST.

From the MIT Technology Review:

An Emulation Sensation
Startup Transitive Software claims it has created software that lets programs run on any operating system-and any processor-without slowing down. This sort of one-size-fits-all emulator has been sought for 30 years. Is the hype for real this time?
