Excellent places to get info on how to read headers and what to do with spam to stop it at the source:
http://abuse.net/ http://www.cauce.org/about/resources.shtml These two sites have great info and links for spam fighting. If you contact an ISP administrator to report spam, it's important that you obtain the full source headers. Mail programs usually give a short four-line header, but full source headers will be several times this length. You can see full headers by following these steps: 1. Open the message while offline. 2. While viewing the message, select from the View menu: "Source" or "View Source" or "Page Source" or "Show Headers." (Different mail apps call it different things) 3. *Copy and paste* (do not Forward) the text from the Page Source window into a new message. 4. Send the message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and to the administrator of the source domain, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Also send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Al Poulin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have just received an e-mail which I think is SPAM.
