Hi. You can use Disk Utility to create a new Image of your DVD and save it to your harddrive. This way you can simply MOUNT that image and your MAC sees it as a regular DVD... And then simply watch it with DVD Player!
Hope I helped OC -----Original Message----- From: iMac List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of john coz Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2004 7:51 AM To: iMac List Subject: Playing DVD's without the Disk In the September issue of MacAddict or Macworld magazine there were instructions for burning games or programs from their DVD to a hard drive using Toast, and then playing the game without the physical DVD in the optical drive. Would it be possible to accomplish the same trick with a DVD of a movie? We are not interested in pirating the movies! The goal is to allow a special needs child to view the movies without having to physically manipulate the disks. Any help would be appreciated. JC _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
