Hugely helpful, thanks. A couple of other questions. Can a non-techie successfully execute the process that you describe? Could such an Image be saved to an external Firewire hard drive or maybe a second internal drive? Finally, and perhaps most importantly, could the icon for the saved Image be changed to a custom image? For instance, could the icon for a Thomas the Tank Engine episode, show as a little choo-choo train on the desktop?
