You have a background process going on that is cancelling shutdown/restart et al.From: Ryan Butler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
When i go to apple menu and choose shutdown, restart, or logout, it does nothing. No matter how many times i try selecting one of those, it doesnt do anything.
Open Process Viewer and see if an obvious candidate pops out. If not, check your "login items" under Accounts. The culprit may be there.
Sounds like a Haxie to me ...
