I've seen 17 inch VGA monitors at Best Buy for $99.00. Why go through all of this trouble just to 'jury rig' a monitor for the Mini-Mac? I don't get a lot of you guys sometimes.

Secondly:
I agree, why stick with a crap 15" CRT ? Why CRT at all, there are good budget TFT screens for just over $250 new, or at least here in Sweden...
