Chris, Thanks for the advice. I think I will be set now on the burner (although I am not sure what connection type I need...firewire, USB 2.0, etc). And, whets the difference in DVD-R and dual layer?
Finally, I am running OS 9.2.2 and do not fully understand what programs will be required to make personal copies of home movies etc. I have been told I will need one program to upload/digitize the movie, one program to compress it, and one program to save to DVD.
